Denver police search for driver in pedestrian hit-and-run

The Denver Police Department is asking for the public’s help in tracking down a driver who struck a pedestrian in the Villa Park neighborhood Saturday night.

Police said the collision happened at the intersection of West 10th Avenue and North Sheridan Boulevard, near Dry Gulch Park. DPD announced the incident at 10:19 p.m.

After hitting the pedestrian with their vehicle, the driver fled the scene without assisting the victim or calling for help.

Police said the victim sustained serious injuries. Their current status is unknown.

Anyone with information is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can be anonymous and are eligible for a $2,000 reward.
