Denver weather: Cold and cloudy Tuesday followed by clear week
Tuesday starts cloudy and cold in Denver, the National Weather Service in Boulder predicts.
Temperatures are likely to reach a high of 42 degrees in Denver with mild breezes around 6 mph. Clouds will gradually decrease throughout the day with a sunnier afternoon, the agency said.
“Just a dusting [of snow] is expected in the city, with most of the snowfall expected to fall in the mountain regions and along the southern portions of the I-25 corridor,” Denver Gazette news partner 9News reported.
Overnight temperatures are expected to drop to a low of 21 degrees with mostly clear skies and winds between 5 and 8 mph.
Wednesday will warm up and reach the 60s with lots of sunshine and mild winds.
The rest of the week shows no signs of moisture until Saturday when a slight chance of rain appears. Temperatures are forecast to be in the 40s and 50s with sunny and mostly sunny skies.
