Police searching for person accused of burglaries in University neighborhood

The Denver Police Department needs help identifying a person accused of committing multiple burglaries since last week.
Police say the person wanted for burglary has been involved in two incidents within blocks of each other in the University neighborhood on Jan. 15.
Authorities said the first incident happened in the 1900 block of South Williams Street about 12:30 p.m. followed by another incident in the 2000 block of South High Street.
The suspect was confronted by renters both times and fled the scene, officials said.

A $2,000 reward is being offered for anyone with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
