One wounded, one arrested in stabbing between homeless men in Boulder

A man was arrested in connection to a stabbing of a homeless man on the University of Colorado campus in Boulder on Thursday afternoon, police said.
The University of Colorado Police Department said the stabbing happened about 12:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of Broadway, near the Andrews Arboretum and Marine.
The victim was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition.
About 4:30 p.m., the Boulder Police Department said it had arrested 33-year-old Joshua Davis in connection to the stabbing.
Detectives are working with the Boulder County District Attorney’s Office and Davis is expected to be charged with first-degree felony assault.
Police said the stabbing stemmed from a disagreement between the men, both of whom are homeless.
Police said it was the third stabbing involving homeless individuals this month.
Detectives are investigating to see if Thursday’s stabbing is related to the stabbings of homeless individuals on Jan. 6 and Jan. 8.
