Greeley ranked as best city for pets, several other Colorado city’s crack the list

These are among the best cities for renters with pets in the United States, according to a new report by Rent.com
Researches from Rent.com surveyed the country’s cities with at least 100,000 people and looked at various factors including the number of pet-friendly communities, off-leash parks, veterinarian costs, and overall amount of pet-related businesses per capita.
After the research was concluded, Greeley was crowned as the best pet city in the country over 49 other cities, but was joined by Boulder (4th) and Arvada (7th) in the top 10.
“With more pet ownership happening across the country, Rent.com wanted to help people find the best cities for pets to live more comfortably,” said Kim Dutton, a spokesperson for Rent.com, in an email statement.
Greeley was crowned king due to its immensely pet-friendly communities as they scored a 100%, and had the most affordable veterinarian costs, according to the list.
“There’s plenty of outdoor activities to do with your pet, from spending the afternoon at Poudre River Trail or taking advantage of the green space at Rover’s Run Dog Park,” the list read.
Westminster, Fort Collins, Pueblo, Lakewood and Centennial also broke into the top 50 Best Cities for pets.
