A Pueblo man has been arrested for his alleged role in an aggravated robbery at a home in Rocky Ford last week, the Colorado Bureau of Investigations said Tuesday.
Daniel W. Hawkins Jr., 24, is being held at the Otero County Jail on unrelated charges, officials said. He will be facing an additional aggravated robbery charge for the Jan. 26 incident.
Police say Hawkins and Rocky Ford resident Patrick T. Jaramillo, 43, committed an aggravated robbery on North Fifth Street in Rocky Ford on Jan. 26.
Police say the suspects displayed weapons during the incident.
While Hawkins is in custody, Jaramillo remains at-large. Anyone with information about his whereabouts are asked to contact the Rocky Ford Police Department at 719-254-3344.
Authorities say if someone sees Jaramillo to not approach him because he is considered armed and dangerous.
Currently police officials and CBI agents are working together to determine whether the suspects are also connected to an attempted homicide at the Loaf N Jug the same day.
