Child injured in Aurora hit-and-run
The Aurora Police Department is searching for a driver that fled the scene after striking and seriously injuring a child in Aurora on Thursday.
Police say the child suffered serious injuries, but is in stable condition. The child was struck by a black or dark colored sedan at Havana Street and East 1st Avenue.

The vehicle was last seen driving north on Havana Street away from the scene.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about the auto-pedestrian accident or the whereabouts of the suspected vehicle to contact the Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
