SNOW TOTALS: Colorado resort gets 20 inches of snow in 24 hours with more on the way
A significant winter storm rolled through parts of Colorado over the past 24 hours, blanketing ski country in heaps of fresh powder.
Snowmass Ski Resort saw snow totals up to 20 inches, while Breckenridge and Vail saw up to 13 inches of fresh powder each.
Here’s a look at how much snow fell across the state between Wednesday and Thursday (February 3-4):

2. Silverthorne – 15 inches
3. Winter Park – 15 inches
4. Aspen – 14 inches
5. Breckenridge Ski Resort – 13 inches
6. Vail Mountain – 13 inches
7. Copper Mountain – 12 inches
8. Keystone Ski Resort – 11 inches
9. Ouray – 10 inches
10. Leadville – 9.7 inches
11. Monument – 8 inches
12. Crested Butte – 7 inches
13. Steamboat Ski Resort – 6.5 inches
14. Loveland Ski Resort – 5 inches
15. Monarch Mountain – 4 inches
16. Woodland Park – 2.5 inches
The snow isn’t over just yet. According to Joel Gratz of OpenSnow, five to ten additional inches of snow are expected to fall over the northern mountains from Thursday evening into Saturday. Snow accumulations could stack up even higher in the mountains, reaching up to 20 inches.
