No Man’s Land Film Festival going virtual in 2021
The flagship event for No Man’s Land Film Festival will be taking place from March 4 to March 7 in 2021 and passes for the popular event are now available.
An action-packed event designed to empower women in the great outdoors, the event will be all-virtual this year instead of taking place in Denver’s downtown RiNo Arts District.
Tickets for the 2021 Virtual Flagship Festival are now on sale, featuring four days of more than 30 featured films, community, art, inspirational presentations, live podcasts, and virtual morning yoga and workout sessions. There’s also a kid’s program offered for Saturday ticket holders.
Guest speakers include Emily Harrington, professional climber and a five-time U.S. National Champion, who has completed numerous first female ascents including Mount Everest and the complete ski descent of Cho Oyu—the world’s 6th tallest peak.
The No Man’s Land Film Festival is aimed at actively “undefining feminine in adventure and sport through film.”
The about page on their websites reads:
“We are women and we are allies. We are sunsets and alpenglow, dangerous riptides and endless singletrack. We are coffee-fueled optimists who may dance-all-night into an alpine start and laugh too loudly at jokes that no one else understands. But we are more than that. We are the vastness to the mountains, we are the horizon to the sea. We are global and there is no end to our possibility. We are rugged and determined. We are forged from a fire of passion and grit; we are nurtured by adventure. We will not be denied. We celebrate our voices and our bodies: their strength, their power and their ability to move mountains. We aren’t just women and we will stand up for our sisters whether or not society recognizes them as such. We are unique. We are individual. We are human. We are ready.”
Sponsors for this year’s event include Black Diamond, The North Face, Salomon, La Sportiva, Ruffwear, American Alpine Club, Wild Asteria, Wild Brush, Jacq Perry Maker, The Climbing Zine, Sterling, Backcountry, She Moves Mountains, Rhiannon Klee Art, Deuter, Gnarly, Hailey Elise, Aventure Pact, and Positive Attraction Soaps Company.
