[WATCH] Piano-playing bear breaks into Colorado apartment

A black bear was caught on video “playing” a piano after breaking into a mountain town apartment in Vail, Colorado.

In the video footage originally published in 2017, the black bear can be seen wandering around the apartment before making its way to the piano and setting off a few high notes.

According to the The Associated Press, the bear came in through an open window and helped itself to some food from the freezer.

Several other species of wildlife have been captured on camera around the state. Earlier this year, a group of hunters captured an 8-point-buck and a mountain lion squaring off in the snow.

In October 2020, surveillance video caught footage of a black bear breaking into a YMCA to raid the refrigerator for a late night snack.

Those living in wildlife country should exercise extreme caution when it comes to preventing negative human-animal interactions. Keep all doors and windows locked around the home and do not leave trash accessible.
