Tucked away in the beautiful backcountry near Creede, a stay here offers guests the chance to explore endless miles of hiking trails, barbecue on the deck, and gaze at a star-filled sky through the ceiling. Visit during the fall for a spectacular display of color.
There’s limited power and no running water, internet, nor cell phone service, so be prepared to fully unplug and disconnect.

Amenities: The kitchen has everything you need to whip up a meal including a kitchen sink, counter space, plates, utensils, glasses, mugs, a stovetop coffee percolator, stainless steel french press, pots, and pans. There’s also plenty of fun board games including chess, checkers, cribbage, Yahtzee, Monopoly, Scrabble, and Uno.
Guests are required to bring their own towels and pillowcases. If visiting in the summer or fall, you’ll also need to bring your own drinking water.
It’s also important to note that a high-clearance 4WD vehicle is required to reach this yurt.
