A 26-year-old man died Sunday afternoon after he crashed into a tree while snowboarding at the Eldora Mountain Resort in Boulder County.
The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office said witnesses called 911 to report the collision at 3:50 p.m. Sunday.
The snowboarder was riding down the Jolly Jug Run when he rode into the tree — the same trail on which two expert teenaged skiers were injured the day before after they ran into each other.
