In an attempt to create a stress-free, less expensive and convenient way to access public information and pay fines, the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office has launched an online access portal.
The new portal gives county residents the option to acquire public records or even pay traffic citations and fines as well as their dues for a concealed handgun permit.
“We hope this new upgrade in technology will serve our citizens well and allow them easier access to publics records,” said Arapahoe County Sheriff Tyler Brown.
“This new and improved system will not only save on costs, but it will save on time as well.”
Aside from being able to make payments and transactions from home, the average fee for public records has dropped from $8 to $2, and fees for citations have dropped from $8 to about $4, according to the sheriff’s office.
County residents can access the new portal through the sheriff’s office homepage at arapahoegov.com/1721/Sheriffs-Office or by clicking here.
