Northglenn PD investigating hit-and-run accident that led to shots fired

An investigation is underway in Northglenn after police said a woman was shot on Interstate-25 following a traffic accident. The suspect fled from the scene.
Northglenn police responded to a report of a hit-and-run in the 10400 block of I-25 on Wednesday at 9:45 p.m., NPD officials said.

Officers arrived on-scene and located a woman who sustained a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
Adams County authorities searching for van involved in weekend shooting
The victim told officers her vehicle was hit by a white BMW, and the suspect fired shots at her before fleeing the scene. She was transported to a local hospital for her injuries.
Police believe this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public, but are asking for information about a white, two-door BMW M series, with front corner panel damage to the passenger side.
