Man barricades himself inside home after displaying weapon during dispute with neighbor

A man was taken into custody following a barricade situation that lasted several hours in Northglenn, police said. 

Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 11500 block of Community Center Drive in Northglenn after reports that a man displayed a weapon during a neighborhood dispute at 8:40 p.m. Friday.

Upon their arrival, officers attempted to contact the man who barricaded himself in the basement of his home, police said. 

The man exited his home at 1 a.m. Saturday and was immediately taken into custody.
