Waste Management will not be collecting trash, recycling in Denver this week

Denverites with overflowing trash and recycling will have to keep suffering until next week.
Waste Management of Colorado confirmed on Wednesday that its collection trucks won’t be making their usual residential routes across the metro area due to “ongoing severe weather and hazardous road conditions,” according to a release from WM.
Collections of residential customers will resume next week and will pick up any extra trash bags at no additional costs.
WM officials said they have not been serving residential customers all week.
In the meantime, WM has placed several dumpsters outside of two of Denver locations and a landfill to allow customers to dispose of their waste for free through March 21.
Customers can dispose of their trash at:
- South Denver location: 2400 W. Union Ave., Englewood, CO, 80110
- North Denver: 7780 E. 96th Ave., Henderson, CO, 80640
- DADS Landfill (through Saturday only): 3500 S. Gun Club Road, Aurora, CO, 80018
