Denver weather: Warm and sunny with spring arriving, but snow looms
Friday and the start of the weekend are expected to be warm and sunny around Denver before snow returns Sunday, the National Weather Service in Boulder said.
Temperatures are likely to reach a high of 61 degrees Friday with sunny skies and winds around 6 mph, the agency said.
Overnight temperatures are expected to drop to a low of 33 degrees with mostly clear skies and winds around 6 mph, the weather service said.
Temperatures reach a high of 64 degrees Saturday – the first day of spring – along with sunny skies. Sunday chances of snow and rain return with more precipitation expected early next week, the weather service said.
“Chance for rain and snow each day through the middle of next week with highs cooling back into the 40s,” Gazette news partner 9NEWS reported.

Monday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 40 degrees. Snow likely, mainly before 7 a.m. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 43. A chance of snow, mainly after 1 p.m.
