The Aurora Police Department launched a suspicious death investigation after a dead body was discovered outside of a tire store Sunday morning.
Police said the body was reported at 10 a.m. in front of Front Range Tire and Auto at 3005 S. Peoria St., near the Nine Mile RTD station.
The deceased was described as a male with “obvious trauma” to his body.
The victim’s identity, cause of death and manner of death will be released after an autopsy is performed by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office.
Police have not declared the death a homicide and said they will update the investigation if necessary, depending on new evidence and autopsy results.
