A possibly suicidal woman who was missing since Saturday was found dead on Monday, the Weld County Sheriff’s Office said.
Mary Ludwig, 43, was last seen by her son about 10:10 p.m. in the 16000 block of Weld County Road 32, four miles east of Platteville.
Deputies said Ludwig made suicidal statements to her son and hasn’t been heard from since.
Officials said Ludwig was found deceased on Monday afternoon, but did not say where.
Officials added she likely died by suicide, but that had not been confirmed.
