Boulder resident Kelsey Lee Taylor, who has been missing since early December, has been found safe in another state, the Boulder Police Department said Thursday.
In a release, police said the 35-year-old Taylor “was located in another state and is safe.” Police did not provide additional information or say what state she is in.
Taylor was last seen leaving a Barnes and Noble bookstore on Pearl Street on Dec. 9. On Dec. 11, Taylor sent a text message to a friend asking to be picked up, but she didn’t respond to subsequent messages from the friend.
Taylor was reported missing after she could not be contacted by her significant other and missed a December hotel reservation, a January court hearing and a February child custody hearing.
Police called the disappearance “very unusual for her.”
On March 11, Boulder police sent out release, requesting the public’s help in their search for Taylor, saying “all investigatory leads have been exhausted.”
Police have not released details regarding how Taylor was found.
