The Adams County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a previously convicted felon wanted on several charges.
Deputies said Michael Ortega removed his GPS tracker recently and was last pinged in the 9400 block of Sheridan Boulevard in Westminster.
Ortega is described as being 6 feet tall and weighing 155 pounds with brown eyes and hair. He is currently being sought for second-degree assault and domestic violence charges, said Adam Sherman, the public information officer for ACSO.
Authorities are asking anyone who sees Ortega to call 9-1-1 immediately and are urging people to not approach him.
