Boulder-founded Noodles & Company is holding a fundraiser that will donate 50% of total sales — up to $50,000 — to assist the victims and families impacted by last week’s mass shooting at a south Boulder King Soopers.
The fundraiser will be held at every Colorado location beginning during the dinner-rush at 4 p.m. and will continue until each location closes. It includes in-person and online orders, according to a release.
The money raised during the fundraiser will be donated to the Colorado Healing Fund, a non-profit, which collects donations and coordinates distribution of those funds through victim advocate organizations.
Although Noodles & Company has expanded across the United States, last week’s shooting that left 10 people dead hit the organization close to home like many other Boulderites.
“We have been part of the Boulder community since our inception a little more than 25 years ago, and the people in this community are more than just our beloved guests — they are friends, family, and neighbors,” said Danielle Moore, Noodle & Company’s director of communication.
“It’s our turn to nourish the Boulder community and we hope many people across Colorado will come out on April 6 to support this cause.”
