Police are investigating after two people were shot early Sunday morning near Coors Field, the Denver Police Department said.
Police said the shooting happened in the 1900 block of Blake Street, one block from Coors Field. Police announced the shooting just after 5 a.m.
The victims, a man and a woman, were taken to a hospital with serious injuries. Their conditions are unknown, police said.
It is unclear what led to the shooting.
The incident occurred hours after the Rockies played the Los Angeles Dodgers at Coors Field on Saturday night.
After the game, the surrounding neighborhood and bars were flooded with fans into the early morning hours.
It is unknown whether the victims attended the game.
No arrests have been made. No suspect information is available.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can be anonymous and are eligible for a $2,000 reward.
