Police search for bowling alley theft suspect in Thornton

The Thornton Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a theft suspect accused of stealing someone’s wallet from a bowling alley.
Police said the incident happened at Sonesta Lanes at 8800 Grant St. on Feb. 26.
After stealing the wallet, the suspect is alleged to have used the victim’s credit cards in several stores in south Thornton and Broomfield between Feb. 26 and Feb. 28.

Police said the suspect is wanted for theft, identity fraud and making fraudulent purchases.
Anyone with information is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can be anonymous and are eligible for a $2,000 reward.
