At-risk man missing out of Fort Collins found safe

An at-risk man who left home Monday and did not return has been found safe, the Fort Collins Police Department said.

Police said 23-year-old Reid Leos left his home on Prairie Hill Drive between midnight and 11 a.m. Monday. Leos has a developmental disability and the mental capacity of someone between 9 and 12 years old, according to his family.

Police said Leos’ family was concerned for his safety, especially because of the inclement weather.

On Tuesday morning, police said Leos was found safe. It did not say where he was found.
