A Tuesday night shooting in Aurora left a man hospitalized and a woman jailed, police said.
Police said the shooting happened just before 11 p.m. at a home in the 1100 block of Clinton Street, next to the Community College of Aurora Lowry Campus.
The victim was transported to a hospital with serious injuries. He is expected to survive, police said.
The suspect, 26-year-old Lutisia Jones, was arrested at the scene minutes after the shooting.
Police have not said what led up to the shooting. The relationship between Jones and victim is currently unknown.
Police are still looking for tips about what happened during the incident.
