An investigation is underway after police say a vehicle drove by and shot at two Colorado State Patrol troopers Friday night.
The troopers were standing outside CSP’s Station 1D in Adams County when a black sedan drove by and fired multiple shots around 8:30 p.m. No one was injured as a result of the shooting, said Gary Culter, a spokesperson for CSP.
Multiple .22 caliber shell casings were recovered from the parking lot by Adams County Sheriff’s Office investigators, the agency announced on Twitter.
Authorities are urging anyone who has any information regarding the shooting or vehicle to contact ACSO’s tip line at 303-288-1535 or by calling 9-1-1.
