The Denver Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding the driver and passenger of a car involved in a road rage shooting on Interstate 70 last week.
Police said the victims were driving east on I-70 when a road rage incident occurred with another car on May 4 at around 10 p.m.
While driving between North Havana Street and North Peoria Street, the front passenger of the other car began shooting out the window into the victim’s vehicle.
No one was injured in the shooting, police said.
The suspect car is described as a 2005 to 2008 Chevrolet Equinox or similar vehicle. It was dark red with heavy window tint and black rims.
After the shooting, the suspect car exited onto North Peoria Street and took off in an unknown direction.
Anyone with information is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can be anonymous and are eligible for a $2,000 reward.
