Denver weather: Rain and thunderstorms continue
Denver can expect rain, thunderstorms and cloudy skies Tuesday, the National Weather Service in Boulder said.
Showers and thunderstorms are likely after 9 a.m. at a 40% chance. Patchy fog is possible before 9 a.m., the agency said.
Tuesday is likely to reach a high of 62 degrees with cloudy skies and winds around 6 mph, the weather service said.
Chance of storms drops to a 10% chance before 11 p.m., the agency said.
Overnight, skies are forecast to be mostly cloudy with a low of 47 degrees and winds between 3 and 6 mph, the weather service said.
Wednesday storms stick around with a reprieve from rain likely Thursday, the agency said.

Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 72 degrees and winds between 5 to 7 mph with gusts up to 15 mph. A 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 83 degrees and winds between 8 to 13 mph with gusts up to 21 mph.
Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 80 degrees. Breezy. A 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon.
Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 77. A chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon.
