Bicyclist killed following crash in Boulder
A bicyclist is dead after being struck by a car in Boulder Thursday afternoon, according to a release from the Boulder Police Department.
Police said the driver struck the bicyclist while heading east on South Boulder Road, after the bicyclist rode directly into traffic near Manhattan Drive shortly after 3 p.m.
The bicyclist was transported to Boulder Community Health where they were pronounced dead, police said.
The driver that struck the victim remained on-scene and is currently cooperating with BPD, police said.
Currently, there is no indication of impairment or distraction.
