Man intentionally hit by car after fight in Denver’s Baker neighborhood
The Denver Police Department is investigating after a man was intentionally hit by a car early Thursday morning after getting into a fight with the driver.
Police said the incident happened about 2:30 a.m. in the Baker neighborhood, near South Broadway and East Bayaud Avenue.
The victim and the suspect got into an altercation for an unknown reason and then, as the suspect got in their car to leave, they drove into the victim, seriously injuring him, police said.
The victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive, police said.
Police said the victim has been uncooperative and will not provide any information about the suspect. It is unclear if the victim and suspect know each other.
The suspect is wanted for charges of aggravated assault.
