The Denver Police Department is investigating after a woman was stabbed overnight in southwest Denver.

Police said the stabbing happened before 3 a.m. Tuesday near West Florida Avenue and South Federal Boulevard, on the border of the Ruby Hill and Mar Lee neighborhoods.

The woman was found suffering from serious injuries and taken to a hospital. Her condition is unknown, police said.

Police have not released any information about what led to the stabbing.

No arrests have been made in connection with the stabbing. No suspect information is available.
