73-year-old woman missing after walking away from Louisville home

The Louisville Police Department is asking the public to be on the lookout for an elderly, at-risk woman last seen Tuesday night.

Pauline Croog, 73, was last seen leaving her home in the 1400 block of Truman Court about 8 p.m. to walk to her daughter’s house in North Lafayette, said Jeff Fisher, deputy chief of police.

Croog suffers from a cognitive impairment and is described as 5-foot-2 and 140 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a purple shirt with black stripes, brown shorts and a tan baseball cap, Fisher said.

Police were notified of her disappearance about 11 p.m. after her family searched and could not find her.

A search ensued with cooperation with the Lafayette Police Department, Boulder Emergency Services and the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office.

The search Tuesday night included the use of drone with infrared capability, K-9s and an Everbridge notice was to to those in the immediate area, Fisher said.

Anyone with information regarding Croog’s whereabouts is asked to contact police.
