FBI, Denver police investigating bank robbery

The Federal Bureau of Investigations and the Denver Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect accused of robbing a bank earlier this week.

Police learned the man entered a Vectra Bank at 401 E. Speer at noon on Wednesday. The robber was armed with a semi-automatic handgun and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money, according to a release from the FBI.

The robber has been described a man standing 5 feet 9 with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants, black shoes, a dark blue bandana with a white pattern and a grey stocking hat, according to the release.
