Man shot on Interstate 25 during road rage incident Friday night
One man was shot while driving on Interstate 25 Friday night as a result of a road rage incident, police said.
Police were dispatched near I-25 and Colorado Boulevard after a report of a shooting about 11:30 p.m. A man was located in his vehicle on the side of the interstate with a gunshot wound, said Ana Munoz, a spokeswoman for the Denver Police Department.
The man was transported to a local hospital and his current status is unknown.
Investigators are still trying to determine what led to the shooting, but currently know the incident began at 6th Avenue and North Sheridan Boulevard.
Information regarding a possible suspect or suspected vehicle has not been released.
