Woman possibly kidnapped in Denver’s Five Points neighborhood

The Denver Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a truck involved in the possible kidnapping of a woman in the Five Points neighborhood on Tuesday morning.

Police said witnesses reported seeing a man force a woman into a truck about 7:40 a.m. near Washington Street and Cleveland Place.

The truck is described as a 2008 or newer white Ford delivery truck, with the word “delivery” spray-painted in light-blue cursive letters on the rear roll-up door.

The truck also has a black passenger door, black bumper and “Den Co” spray-painted in light blue on the driver’s side, police said.

The truck was last seen going westbound on Park Avenue West toward Interstate 25, police said.

Anyone who sees the truck is asked to call 911 immediately and not intervene.

Those who have information about the incident should call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can be anonymous and are eligible for a $2,000 reward.
