At-risk Douglas County teen missing since Thursday

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find an at-risk teenager who has been missing since Thursday.

Deputies said 15-year-old Alexander Gratrix was last seen about 8 p.m. Thursday in the area of Castle Pines Village, just north of Castle Rock.

Gratrix is developmentally delayed and considered endangered, deputies said.

Gratrix is 5-foot-6 with a thin build, brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue hat with Hawaiian designs, a black T-shirt, gray athletic shorts and black high-top shoes.

Mistrial declared in case of fatal road rage shooting

Deputies said they don’t know if Gratrix is still in the Douglas County area, but he is very familiar with the area.

The sheriff’s office and Douglas County Search and Rescue have searched the area surrounding Gratrix’s neighborhood without any results.

Anyone who has seen Gratrix or who has information about where he might be is asked to call the sheriff’s office dispatch line at 303-660-7500.
