Erie police arrested a 43-year-old man early Wednesday morning in connection to a shooting in Parker.
Authorities booked Antonio Meraz-Loya, 43, into the Douglas County Jail, where he is being held on suspicion of committing more than a half dozen charges including first-degree attempted murder, second-degree assault, menacing and reckless endangerment, according to the Parker Police Department.
Meraz-Loya arrest comes following a Tuesday shooting in Parker that left one person seriously injured in the 10300 block of Dransfeldt Road, police said.
Officers responded to a report of a person being shot about 2 p.m. Tuesday. Upon their arrival, they located a victim who was transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life threating injuries.
