The lives of Col. Anthony Giannangeli and his wife, Mary Louise, were honored during a funeral at the Air Force Academy on Sept. 3, 2021. On April 2, 1972, Col. Anthony Giannangeli was one of five electronic warfare aircrew who went missing when their aircraft took enemy fire and crashed in Vietnam. The five Airmen are considered missing in action. Col.
