House Freedom Caucus picks Scott Perry as next leader
The House Freedom Caucus elected Pennsylvania Republican Scott Perry to be the next chairman of the conservative group.
A source confirmed to the Washington Examiner on Monday that Perry was picked to replace Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs, who is constrained by term limits from serving again.
He ran against Ohio’s Warren Davidson and North Carolina’s Ralph Norman for the position, Politico reported.
