14-year-old girl missing from Aurora found safe

A 14-year-old girl who was missing from her Aurora home for more than two days was found safe Tuesday, the Aurora Police Department said.

The girl left her home between 3 and 6 a.m. Sunday and was not seen or heard from until around 5 p.m. Tuesday, police said.

After looking for the girl since Sunday afternoon, police said they found her safe within the city. She has since been reunited with her family.

Police have not released any information about the girl’s disappearance or whether it was criminal in nature.

She was last known to be around her home in the 2100 block of South Waco Street, near Rangeview High School.
