Loveland man accused of sexually assaulting teen girl; police seek other victims
The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office is asking for additional victims to come forward after a Loveland man was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl in 2019.
Deputies said the initial assault happened in September 2019 in the 400 block of North Highway 287 near Fort Collins. The victim told police she met a man on Snapchat and met up with him to buy marijuana.
When the girl got into the man’s car, he grabbed her, drove to a secluded area and sexually assaulted her, deputies said. The girl reported the assault to a school resource officer in November 2019.
Andrew Francisco Koprowski, 36, was arrested Oct. 1, 2021. He faces two counts of sexual assault and one count of unlawful sexual contact, second-degree kidnapping, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and distribution of marijuana to a minor.
On Oct. 5, Koprowski was released from the Larimer County Jail after paying a $50,000 bond, deputies said.
Investigators said they believe Koprowski may have assaulted other victims after connecting with him on social media to purchase marijuana or other products.
Anyone with information is asked to call Investigator Stephen Gates at 970-498-5169.
