Prince Charles will likely receive the royal treatment after revealing on Thursday he had once again tested positive for COVID-19.

Clarence House announced the Prince of Wales’s condition through social media after announcing Wednesday he and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, attended a reception with several government officials to celebrate a charity. Charles, 73, previously tested positive for COVID-19 in March 2020.

“This morning The Prince of Wales has tested positive for COVID-19 and is now self-isolating,” Clarence House wrote on social media. “HRH is deeply disappointed not to be able to attend today’s events in Winchester and will look to reschedule his visit as soon as possible.”

The reception Charles and his wife attended was honoring Britain Asian Trust, a charity he founded in 2007 to support disadvantaged communities in South Asia, according to the social media post. Some of the officials shown attending the event were British Home Secretary Priti Patel and Finance Minister Rishi Sunak, who posed for photos with Charles. Neither has said whether they are isolating due to contact with Charles.

Charles and his wife got vaccinated against COVID-19 in Feb. 2021. Both encouraged people to get a booster shot against COVID-19 in December, according to the BBC.

Other members of the royal family have tested positive during the COVID-19 pandemic, including Prince William, the duke of Cambridge, in April 2020. His wife, the duchess of Cambridge, isolated in July 2021 after coming in contact with someone who later tested positive for COVID-19, NBC reported.
