Man hit and killed by RTD train in Park Hill neighborhood
A man died after being hit by a Regional Transportation District train on Thursday night in Denver’s northeast Park Hill neighborhood.
Officers responded to the crash around 10:30 p.m. in the 4000 block of North Monaco Parkway. The man was pronounced dead on scene, said Kurt Barnes, a spokesman for the Denver Police Department.
The victim will be identified at a later date by Denver’s Office of the Medical Examiner, police said.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
