Ball Arena evacuated due to small fire ahead of TobyMac concert
Authorities evacuated Ball Arena after a small fire on Thursday night, according to the Denver Fire Department.
The fire ignited inside the maintenance area around 6:15 p.m. It was quickly extinguished by the arena’s sprinkler system, said Greg Pixley, a spokesman for the department.
People at the arena were attending a TobyMac concert, according to Ball Arena’s website. Pixley said the concert was canceled as a result of the fire.
No one was injured as a result of the fire.
