Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones taken to hospital after car crash

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was taken a Texas hospital with minor injuries after a car crash Wednesday night, according to reports.

Emergency crews responded to the scene of the crash near downtown Dallas and transported the 79-year-old NFL team owner and Pro Football Hall of Fame member to Parkland hospital for “precautionary measures,” according to a report.

Jones’s son, Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones, told ESPN Wednesday night that his father was “all good” and had been released from the hospital.

It’s unclear if Jerry Jones was the driver of the vehicle that crashed.

Jones has owned the Cowboys since 1989 and has won three Super Bowl titles with the franchise. Jones announced last month that his team would become the first NFL club with a cryptocurrency partnership.
