Twitter desktop outage reports spike
Twitter for desktop appeared to go down for people across multiple countries on Monday.
Outages, particularly for the website, spiked around 8:30 p.m. in places across the globe, including in the United States, according to thousands of user reports collected by Downdetector. Roughly an hour later the site appeared to be back up and running for desktop, at least in the U.S.
The Washington Examiner is reaching out to Twitter for comment.

The major disruption comes after Twitter accepted Tesla CEO Elon Musk‘s $44 billion takeover, which has yet to be finalized.
