The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a travel trailer stolen in late August and identifying the suspects in the theft.

13-year-old among 4 teens arrested in Colorado Springs homicide

On Aug. 26 around 8:20 a.m., a 1992-1995 “dark colored” Toyota 4Runner entered through a security gate at Smart Space Storage, located at 5210 Tamlin Road off of Marksheffel Road east of Colorado Springs, by slipping in behind another vehicle that had entered the gate code, according to security camera footage.

The suspect vehicle then circled the parking lot for several minutes before leaving the property with a travel trailer attached.

The stolen trailer is a gray 2018 Heartland Recreational Vehicles Wilderness Travel Trailer with Montana license plate 257822B, officials said.

The two suspects have been identified as a white man in his 20s with dark hair and a white woman in her 20s with long dark hair, officials said.
