3 dead, 3 injured in early Saturday morning shooting in Denver
Denver police are investigating a shooting that left three people dead and wounded three others Saturday.
The shooting was reported at 12445 East 39th Avenue around 2 a.m. Saturday morning, police said on social media.
Officers who responded to the shooting initially found one victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene
Five other victims self-transported to a nearby hospital, police said. Two later died from injuries; three are expected to survive.
Police said preliminary information indicates the shooting occurred during a party at an “industrial storefront,” and that evidence shows at least two guns were fired.
Police have yet to determine how many people were in the party, and are continuing to investigate the incident.
