Will Taylor Swift be in Denver for the Broncos-Chiefs game on Sunday? Here’s what we know
Taylor Swift has attended four of the last five Chiefs games, but skipped their most recent road game.
UPDATE: Sorry Swifties…
Fans who were hoping to catch a glimpse of Taylor Swift at Sunday’s Broncos-Chiefs game should prepare to be disappointed.
TMZ is reporting the superstar will not be in Denver for the Broncos’ game against Kansas City at Empower Field.
According to TMZ, “sources with direct knowledge” said Swift will skip the game because she needs to start preparing for the next leg of the Eras Tour, which resumes next month in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The singer-songwriter has been a fixture at most of the Chiefs games since she began dating Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce.
So far this season, Swift has attended four of the last five Chiefs game, including the Oct. 12 game against the Broncos in Kansas City — a 19-8 Chiefs win.
Of the four games Swift has attended, three were in Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City and only one was a road game — a 23-20 Chiefs win against the New York Jets. Swift has a home in New York.
The pop star, however, skipped the Chiefs other road game during the recent span of games, a 27-20 Chiefs win in Minnesota against the Vikings, which shows there is precedence for Swift to skip Chiefs’ road games when she doesn’t own a home nearby.
The Chiefs this season are 4-0 when Swift attends and 2-1 when she’s not in attendance. They have outscored opponents 114-55 in games Swift has attended, leading some to say that she’s Kelce’s “good luck charm.”

The last time Swift was at Empower Field, she serenaded about 140,000 Swifties over two nights, July 14 and 15, during her wildly successful Eras Tour, which has boosted the pop star to billionaire status, according to multiple reports published this week.
While Swift will reportedly not be in Denver to see her second Broncos-Chiefs game this month, another important question remains: Can the Broncos beat the Chiefs for the first time since 2015? Maybe the winter weather, and Swift’s absence, can work in Denver’s favor.
